The automotive test center of Caligny chooses TrackImage and TrackReport
Tuesday, November 1, 2011

ORME is proud to announce that the automotive test center of Caligny chooses the software application TrackReport for their automotive crash-test analyses.

TrackImage, with the 2D-trajectography module and the virtuel objects module, will enable to automatically analyse the crash-tests high-speed videos, in order to compute the cinematics of various points of interests in images. TrackReport, and its specific biomechanical criteria calculus library, will enable to analyze the crash signals, and to automatically edit the corresponding test reports.

Thus, with these two complementary software products, the diagnostic and the analysis of the crash-test are available within the few minutes following the test!

MoorInspect: research project kick-off for mooring chain link in deep-water offshore facilities
Monday, October 17, 2011

The objective of MOORINSPECT is to develop a medium range ultrasonic in-water testing technology to identify cracks and fatigue in a large chain links in deep-water offshore facilities. This research project has received funding from the European Union's Seventh Framework Program, managed by the Research Executive Agency.

ORME, part of a consortium of 9 European partners, involving research institutes, SMEs and end-users, will take part in the design and validation of ultra-sonic signal processing algorithms, to detect default in mooring chain links.

OROS orders an ASAM-ODS module to enhance NVGate
Monday, October 10, 2011

OROS, specializing in acoustic and vibration measurements, offers sensors, analyzers and software applications. To enhance the analyzer’s software suite NVGate, OROS trusts ORME to develop an ASAM-ODS module to export data in the standard ATF-XML format. This module will be developed during the first half-year 2012, and will be smoothly integrated in NVGate.

RENAULT trusts TrackImage to analyze crash-tests
Saturday, October 1, 2011

Following the choice of TrackReport, some years ago, to analyze their crash-tests, the French car manufacturer RENAULT now chooses TrackImage to analyze high-speed videos from these kinds of tests. Automatic motion tracking, to compute trajectories, velocities and accelerations of points in 2D or 3D, objects deformations, virtual point and contour creation and analysis… are some of the applications.

Notably, a new innovative measurement method came up during the evaluation tests of TrackImage by RENAULT’s engineers, in close collaboration with ORME’s team: the complete 3D-deformation of the car’s hood during a pedestrian impact can now be measured using 3 cameras (See example in TrackReport webspace).

Crash Test User Meeting by Kistler : TrackImage and TrackReport presentations
Wednesday, May 11, 2011

We are pleased to invite you to the Crash Test User Meeting, held by KISTLER in Jouy-En-Josas, on 2011 May the 11th. This conference is aimed at bringing together experts in passive safety, to share their knowledges in this domain.

It is the occasion for ORME to present the last evolutions of the software applications TrackImage and TrackReport, as well as the libraries of data analysis models for the crash-test regulations and dummy calibration. We will for instance present an application of dummy calibration tests automatisation with the KISTLER acquisition systems, installed in PSA, France.

Please fell free to ask for more information about this conference.
